We are looking for motivated people with experience in networking, pc hardware, Windows operating systems and basic web development skills (HTML, PHP, CSS, Flash). You will also be responsible for general office administration. You’ll get hands on experience with vast variety of IT systems and technologies, which will advance your future as an IT Professional. The Role

You will be responsible for managing our office and performing the following tasks:

• Repairs and maintenance of Windows based desktop and server systems (excellent knowledge of Windows Server SBS including MS Exchange is a must)
• Troubleshooting of wide range of software and hardware related problems
• Networking, understanding of all related technologies: IP, Firewalls, Proxies, NAT, DNS etc.
• Remote support/troubleshooting of software related problems
• Basic web development tasks
• Recognise and follow-up opportunities for sales within the support environment
• General office administration
• Over phone technical support

This role is being offered as full time however there is some flexibility with hours.


Personal Requirements

• Technically minded
• Recognised IT qualification or equivalent experience is preferred
• Excellent over phone communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
• Initiative, passion and self-motivation
• Applicants must be well presented
• Ability to learn technology, processes and systems quickly
• Driver’s licence

Technical skills requirements

• PC Hardware diagnostic and repair
• Excellent knowledge of Windows Server based OS (AD, Exchange, etc)
• Excellent knowledge of computer networks (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, WiFi, Routing, etc)
• Excellent knowledge of XP and Vista based OS
• Experience with Disk Imaging applications, Backup systems.
• Experience with remote support applications
• Experience with HTML, CSS, PHP, Flash and other web development technologies.

Desirable but not mandatory

• Knowledge of Linux based operating systems
• Hands on experience with laptop repairs (full laptop disassembly/assembly)
• Basic knowledge in electronics
